It's Canada Day, the sun is shining and everyone is celebrating. Here in Ottawa there are scores of activities which started early this morning and will end (officially) with a giant fireworks display at Parliament Hill tonight just after it gets dark (it's summer, so it won't be dark enough to see the fireworks until maybe 9:45 pm).

I've been napping at intervals, to get my stamina up for babysitting my grandson Jade tonight - he's 6 and an unbelievable fireball of energy, and I need all my strength to keep up with him :-)

But now, before he comes, I'll go into my studio and start another abstract - they're calling to me, and I absolutely must answer.
