Remember that old Beatles tune? (I'd like to be ..... under the sea...) Boy once that's in your head it's hard to get it out - a real meme!
This is a fun piece, with scads of detail, colour and texture, and SO SHINY! (that's a by-product of the medium I'm using with my paint, it has a natural high gloss to it). But it also makes it really difficult to photograph, so I apologize for the blur in some parts and the highlights in others.
It's great to be doing abstracts again. I missed them while I was painting realism. Feels like I have my balance back on the bipolartistic seesaw!
