Funny how people see different things in a painting. I was painting this one horizontally, and thinking oil-spill in the Gulf, but my son saw ghosts.  So ...  a quick 90-degree turn, and OMG there they were!

The Banshee, hair streaming, mouths open in their trademark wail.  Here's a closeup of them.

Actually - maybe they're the banshee steeds - they look a bit like dragons, don't they?
